Our commercial team will look over all the subcontract order documents once a project has been secured.
They will also keep in close contact with site and issue application invoices at the end of every month to ensure that projects are kept to specification and budget and all project variations are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
Marksman have both an in-house and external design department who will undertake the project specific detailed drawings and elevations using the latest version of AutoCAD.
Once the set of design drawings have been approved by the client/architect, we complete a set of material schedules which are then passed through to our buying department for ordering.
Our skilled site management team work with the client/main contractor to ensure the project is kept to programme and works are completed on time and to the highest of standards.
We allocate contract managers to each project to oversee everything from design, material deliveries, programmes, on-site progress meetings, snagging works, etc.
All work is carried out by fully CSCS trained operatives who work closely with the drawing office/site management team at all times.
Also the majority of operatives hold NVG Level 2, NVQ Level 3, CPCS Telehandler, CPCS or IPAF Scissor and Boom, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness Certificates, SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH, SSSTS.
On completion of the set of material schedules, our efficient buying department will check the schedules against the project specification and place the order with the relevant suppliers.
They will also schedule deliveries direct to site in accordance with the construction programme, advise site contact address and details, and respond to any additional materials that are required on-site.
Also they will order any hire access / lifting equipment required for our install teams on-site and keep a track of this so they can off-hire once this is not required.
Our busy accounts department process all of the materials supplier’s invoices so that all bills are paid on time.

Health & Safety Department
Our health and safety department will carry out a project specific method statement which will provide information on safe working practices, site contact details, site access requirements, safe work access and safe workplace provisions, lifting operations and plant, construction sequence and detailed method of construction.
Also they will carry out a project specific risk assessment to identify hazards and risk factors that have the potential to cause harm and determine appropriate ways to eliminate the hazard or control the risk when the hazard cannot be eliminated.
Site inspections will also be carried out when required to review if our install team are working safely and ensure a smooth project from start to finish.
Our O&M document controller will organise and deliver the final warranties and project guarantees on the project completion.
They will also provide a set of as-built project specific detail drawings so that these can be added into the O&M manuals.
